The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has made a significant advancement in its examination process by launching the first-ever free computer-based mock examination for the 2024 first-series West African Senior Secondary School Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates. This exciting development was announced by Moyosola Adesina, the Acting Head of Public Affairs at the WAEC national office in Lagos.

Scheduled to take place from January 23 to 24, this pioneering mock test is designed to prepare prospective candidates for the actual examination. To access the mock examination portal, candidates can use their mobile phones or personal computers, and the portal will be available throughout the two days, allowing candidates to make a second attempt if needed.

Accessing Mock Examination Information

According to Adesina, login details for registered candidates will be sent to their email addresses and phone numbers after registration closes. Additionally, a tutorial video on how to use the examination portal will be available on all of WAEC’s social media platforms.

Wishing Candidates Success

WAEC expressed its best wishes for success and a positive experience to all candidates during the examination.
