Google PhD Fellowship
The Google PhD Fellowship Program recognizes outstanding graduate students engaged in innovative research in fields closely related to computer science and other related areas.
The University of Minnesota can present up to four eligible candidates for the Google PhD Fellowship.
Eligible Requirement

To be eligible, an applicant’s research must align with Google AI Principles and fall within one or more of the listed fields.
How Do I Apply?
A complete application should be submitted as a single PDF to the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies by 4:00 pm PT on August 4, 2024. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications must include the following components:
1. A signed cover sheet from the applicant’s UBC department chair
2. A student CV
3. A brief CV of the student’s primary supervisor
4. 2 to 3 letters of recommendation
5. A research abstract
6. A research or dissertation proposal
7. Two student essay responses
8. Official transcripts for all post-secondary studies
Application Deadline
The submission deadline is 5:00 PM CST on July 31, 2024.
