Mastercard Foundation EDC Transforming Nigerian Youths Program 2024
The Transforming Nigerian Youths Program is an initiative by the Mastercard Foundation-Young Africa Works in partnership with the Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University. It aims to equip Nigerian youth to become more entrepreneurial and self-employed. The program focuses on creating a network of entrepreneurial and managerial change-makers among youths and women in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector in Nigeria.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Transforming Nigerian Youths Program:

Program Objectives
The program’s core objectives include:
- Transforming the mindset of youths in Nigeria to become more entrepreneurial
- Creating market access and support services for existing business owners
- Changing the way learning or information is received through EDC Beam
EDC aims to build the capacity of 40,000 MSMEs, with a focus on agriculture and creative sectors, especially women-led businesses in Nigeria. The training will be delivered through EDC’s online learning platform and IVR (Interactive Voice Response), enabling learners to participate in the lessons on the go.
