**What Is the Matthew Isakowitz Fellowship Program?**

The program is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the memory of Matthew Isakowitz – an exceptional engineer and entrepreneur who significantly impacted the commercial space exploration industry. It aims to empower the next generation of aerospace professionals by providing valuable career training and opportunities for summer internships at leading companies involved in space exploration.

**Eligibility Criteria for the Fellowship**

– Be a college junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a full-time career in commercial spaceflight
– Have an engineering or science degree, or be working towards one
– U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident
– Fully available for a summer internship in 2024

**Fellowship Application Process**

To apply, complete a single online application by the deadline of October 7, 2024. The application includes general information, resume, transcript, two recommendation letters, and three essays.

**Scholarship Selection Process**

Following the application review, the most highly qualified candidates will undergo video interviews before being selected as finalists. Host companies will then choose a Fellow from this pool. Selected Fellows will start their internships in May or June 2024.
