NHSC Scholarship Program Overview: Check How to Apply

If you’re looking to earn a degree in a primary care health profession such as nursing, teaching or medicine, then you should look into the NHSC Scholarship Program. In exchange for this scholarship, you will be expected to provide primary care health services in areas with a shortage of health professionals.

The NHSC Scholarship Program provides support for tuition, fees, and other educational expenses for up to four years of full-time enrollment in a primary care health professions degree training program. It also includes monthly stipends to help cover living expenses while pursuing your degree.

To be eligible for the NHSC scholarship, you must be a US citizen or National. You must also be enrolled as a full-time student (or accepted for enrollment) in a qualifying degree program at an accredited school or program in the US or a US territory.
