The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency is currently accepting applications for the next batch, DEOBC Class 2021-20. Application processing will commence in September or October of this year.

Requirements for PDEA Recruitment

To become a Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agent, applicants must meet specific educational requirements and eligibility criteria.

  1. Applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 35 upon oath-taking, at least 5’2″ in height for men and 5′ in height for women, and hold a bachelor’s degree in any four-year course.
  2. Additionally, applicants must pass the Civil Service Exam or any equivalent exam.
  3. Intelligence officers must also possess either Bar or Board eligibility, Career Service Professional eligibility, or Honor Graduate eligibility.
  4. Meeting these qualifications is the first step towards becoming a PDEA agent.

PDEA Recruitment Process 2024

The recruitment process for PDEA agents involves several steps:

  • Applicants must submit the necessary documentary requirements when filing their application, including a duly accomplished Personal Data Sheet, Transcript of Records, Diploma, and other relevant documents.
  • After passing the initial screening process, applicants will undergo a series of written and physical fitness exams, drug testing, and background investigations.
  • Successful applicants will then undergo six months of rigorous training at the PDEA Academy in Silang, Cavite.
  • The recruitment process is highly competitive, and only the most qualified candidates are selected for the training program.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Training

The training and development program for PDEA agents is designed to equip them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and values to carry out their duties effectively.

The program covers a wide range of topics, including drug enforcement operations, intelligence gathering, surveillance, and investigation techniques. The training also includes physical fitness activities and firearms proficiency training.

After completing the training program, PDEA agents are assigned to various field offices throughout the Philippines, where they work to combat the drug problem in the country.

  • Transcript of Records (Original/ Authenticated)
  • Diploma (Original/ Authenticated)
  • CSC Eligibility/ PRC Board Rating
  • NSO Birth Certificate
  • Barangay Clearance
  • Police Clearance
  • NBI Clearance
  • Metropolitan Trial Court Clearance
  • Prosecutor’s Clearance
  • Regional Trial Court Clearance
  • Affidavit of Undertaking of Non-Pending Case
  • Drug Test Result (One-month before application)
