The Academy of Cosmetology program spans 1500 hours with a school week of 36.5 hours. The tuition covers a non-refundable registration fee of $200.00, textbooks, a professional Cosmetology/Hairdressing kit, the Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia Student Card Fee, and the Provincial Exam fee. Upon completing the program, you will be awarded a Diploma in Cosmetology/Hairdressing.
The Academy’s goal for graduates is to gain the skills and knowledge to apply advanced hair cutting and design techniques, work with hair color and permanent waving, adapt to industry concepts, and perform salon management/entrepreneurial skills, among others.
