Akwa Ibom State Government Scholarship Shortlisted Names for 2024 Released
List of 500 Indigent Students of Akwa Ibom Scholarship Beneficiaries.
This is to inform the general public, especially Akwa Ibom State indigenes that the Akwa Ibom State Scholarship shortlisted names have been released.
If you remember, this scholarship application took place last year. This was after the State Executive council, on 27th June, 2024, approved that 500 indigent students of Akwa Ibom origin studying in public universities in Nigeria should be awarded Scholarships.
About 1,665 applicants indicated interest in the Akwa Ibom State Scholarship by applying on the state website but only 1,192 applicants were invited for aptitude test on 27th December, 2024 at UNIUYO ICT Centre after first screening.
Finally, only top 500 applicants who had the highest grades were selected. Those 500 applicants are seen below in the Akwa Ibom State Scholarship shortlisted names.

Science & Technology: 70%
Other Courses: 30%

Scholarship Worth:
The scholarship worth is N200,000 per beneficiary.
