ASUU to Embark on Another 3-Months Strike

After the end of its two-month warning strike, the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU has chosen to embarked on another three-month strike in response to the Federal Government’s lackadaisical attitude toward its demands.

Professor Victor Emmanuel Osodeke, the union’s national president, announced the strike at a press conference in Abuja on Monday.

“From Monday, May 9th, 2022, the union has chosen to go on a three-month strike,” he stated.

The European Union also criticized Nigeria’s administration of being insensitive and spreading misinformation.
