The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU ) Will Meet With The  Federal Government (FG )Next week,  the Federal Government (FG ) and ASUU will begin negotiations.

The following are the specifics:

The Federal Government(FG) said it will start talks with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) next week in order to resolve the country’s long-running university closures.

The meeting will take place on May 9th or 10th, 2022.

This was said by Sen. Chris Ngige, Minister of Labour and Employment, in his opening remarks during a meeting between the government and the striking National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT).
