Positions Available for Application
Category A: Superintendent Cadre
ASF I (Assistant Superintendent of Fire) [CONPASS 09]: Master’s degree or membership in a recognized professional body is required.
ASF II (Assistant Superintendent of Fire) [CONPASS 08]: A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university is required.
Category B: Inspectorate Cadre
SIF (Senior Inspector of Fire) [CONPASS 08]: Higher National Diploma or equivalent qualification is required. Examine credits in no more than two sittings, including Mathematics and English Language.
FA III (Fire Assistant III) CONPASS 03: Applicants must have a minimum of three credits in not more than two sittings of GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE/NECO, or its equivalent, including at least English or Mathematics.

– Applicant must be Nigerian by birth
– Age between 18 and 30
– Relevant educational qualifications
– Height requirements of 1.65m for males and 1.60m for females
– Certificate of medical fitness from a government-owned or accredited hospital
– Chest measurement of 87 inches or greater for male candidates
– Good character and lack of criminal record
– Computer knowledge will be an advantage
