FAQs

What is the Imperial College London Masters Scholarship Programme?

The Imperial College London Masters Scholarship Programme is a funding initiative designed to support outstanding students who wish to pursue postgraduate studies at Imperial. It provides financial assistance to help cover tuition fees and sometimes living expenses, allowing talented individuals from diverse backgrounds to gain access to world-class education.

Who is eligible to apply for the scholarship?

Eligibility varies depending on the specific scholarship under the programme, but generally applicants must hold an offer of admission to a full-time Master’s programme at Imperial College London. Many scholarships are merit-based, requiring excellent academic records, while some also consider financial need, leadership qualities, and contributions to community or research.

What does the scholarship cover?

The scholarship package differs according to the specific award, but it may include partial or full tuition fee coverage and, in some cases, a stipend for living costs. The exact funding details are usually specified in the award announcement for each scholarship, and applicants are encouraged to review the terms carefully before applying.

How can prospective students apply for the scholarship?

Most scholarships are awarded automatically to candidates who receive an offer for a Master’s programme and meet the eligibility criteria, while others require a separate application form. Applicants are advised to check Imperial College London’s official scholarships page, ensure they meet the deadlines, and prepare supporting documents such as transcripts, personal statements, and references where required.
