INSAIT Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship 2023

If you’re very passionate about research, then this Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship is for you.
This fellowship program is designed for undergraduates students of any nationality by INSAIT, that is, Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology.

How long will it last?

The fellowship program will last between 8-10 weeks. At the end, you will have to travel to Bulgaria for your projects.

Benefits

If you’re successful, you will be entitled to a monthly stipend of 1,500 EUR which covers accommodation and living expenses.

Since you will have to travel to Bulgaria for your summer project, you will receive travel support.

  • Computer System and Networks
  • Natural Language Processing

Eligibility

  • You must be an undergraduate student in any accredited university
  • You must be enrolled in any of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematical (STEM) courses.
  • You must have a minimum GPA of 3.4 out of 4.0 and 4.2 out of 5.0.

 Program Timelines

  • Application started Dec. 14, 2022  and ends Feb 25, 2023.
  • Application would be reviewed from Feb 26-March 10, 2023.
  • Online Interview invitation sent to shortlisted candidates: March 13, 2023.
  • The brief online interview takes place between March 13-17, 2023.
  • Invitation of Selected candidates: March 20, 2023.

The summer research program is to run for maximum of 10 weeks starting from June 1 – Aug 31, 2023.

  • A single-page motivation letter (in pdf)

In your motivation letter, state:

  1. Why you’re interested in the summer research program
  2. Two research areas in INSAIT that you’re interested in
  3. Whether you have prior research experience.
