What is the Romanian Government International Scholarship?

Who is eligible to apply for this scholarship?

The scholarship is open to international students from non-EU countries. Applicants must hold a recognized high school diploma for undergraduate studies, a bachelor’s degree for master’s studies, and a master’s degree for doctoral studies. Proficiency in the Romanian language is required, and successful applicants who do not speak Romanian will take a preparatory language course.

What does the scholarship cover?

The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, and a monthly stipend depending on the level of study. Undergraduate students receive support for up to three to six years, master’s students for up to two years, and PhD candidates for up to three to five years. However, travel expenses and personal costs are not included.
