University of Ottawa Excellence Scholarship for African Students 2024/25
Welcome to the University of Ottawa Excellence Scholarship for African Students for the 2024/2025 session. This scholarship is renewable and open to international students from African countries. The University values diversity and is offering this award to eligible students admitted in the fall 2024 term or later.
University of Ottawa Excellence Scholarship Details
The scholarship is available to African students enrolled in specified undergraduate programs in the faculties of Engineering, Science, or Social Sciences. It provides financial support of $17,500 to $25,000 towards tuition fees, depending on the program. Eligible students will receive it automatically upon enrolment and it will be applied directly to their tuition fees.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scholarship, African students studying in English must meet admission requirements, be enrolled full-time in a university undergraduate program, be African citizens, and meet the academic averages required for the scholarship.
Application Procedures
Interested applicants should apply for scholarships and bursaries after applying to the University of Ottawa and receiving their uoAccess ID and password. All applications must be submitted online via the Online Scholarships and Bursaries platform. Required documents should be uploaded, and the application submitted.
