Eligibility Criteria
The Dean’s Global Excellence Scholarship is available for:
- International (including EU) students who have received a conditional or unconditional offer to study at the University of York by 1 May 2024
- Students who will be paying fees at the overseas fee rate and intend to study a full-time undergraduate course
However, students who already hold a 100 percent tuition fee scholarship or are fully sponsored are not eligible for this scholarship. Additionally, students on certain academic pathways such as Hull York Medical School, International Pathway College, and part-time courses are not eligible.
Eligible Courses
The scholarship is open to students in various departments at the University of York, including but not limited to Department of Biology, Department of Computer Science, Department of Economics and Related Studies, and York Law School.

Application Procedures
All undergraduate students with an offer at the University of York will be automatically considered for the Dean’s Global Excellence Scholarship. Successful awardees will be notified by Friday 10 May 2024, and there is no formal application process required.
