Eligibility Requirements for the 2024 UNICEF Internship Programs:
To be considered for the UNICEF Internship Program in 2024, applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in a graduate/undergraduate degree program in fields such as management, international development, project management, business administration, social sciences, partnerships, fundraising, human resources, or secretarial studies, or have graduated within the past two years.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in partnerships with the private sector.
- Possess previous internship or work experience in a low-income or middle-income country (an asset), with additional preference given to those with experience in the office of a senior official.
- Exhibit experience in project management and fundraising (considered as assets).
- Display a deep interest in excellence in management practices.
- Be fluent in English; knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) is strongly encouraged.
- Have no immediate relatives (e.g., father, mother, brother, sister) working in any UNICEF office, and no other relatives in the line of authority that the intern will report to.
- Demonstrate excellent academic performance, as evidenced by recent university or institution records.
