Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Africa Dream Scholarship (JADS) Program, applicants must fulfil the following:
- Applicants should have a minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in relevant areas.
- Applicants should have at least 1 year of paid employment after receiving their Bachelor’s degree.
- Candidates should be 35 years old or younger, and in good health.
- Candidates should gain admission to an approved master’s degree course at a Japanese or African partner university.
- Candidates should not be enrolled in another graduate degree program.
- Must be a citizen of one of the African Development Bank’s regional member countries.
Scholarship Benefits
- Tuition fee coverage for 24 months.
- Monthly living stipend for 24 months.
- Air travel to and from the host university.
- Health insurance.
- Additional six months for preparatory study or internships.
- Special grant for research and thesis preparation.
