NWAG Scholarships 2023 for Female Undergraduates

NWAG Scholarships 2023 for Female Undergraduates in Nigeria is out. The Nigerian Women Association of Georgia (NWAG) comprises remarkably skilled members from diverse careers who have decided to collaborate by pooling materials, capabilities, and resources to benefit the needy in Nigeria, and Georgia and at the same time donate to preserving Nigerian culture.

The Nigerian Women Association of Georgia (NWAG) is set to Award Scholarships to 74 Female Undergraduate Students attending University in Nigeria for the year 2023. This scholarship is a one-time scholarship.

Scholarship Benefits

As stated above, a total of 74 Female Undergraduate Students would be awarded. One winner per state of origin plus the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and half the winning prize would also be awarded to First Runner Ups from each of the 36 states plus the FCT. 

To be exact;

  • Each qualified female student who gets shortlisted for the scholarship award will receive Three Hundred U. S. Dollars ($300).
  • While each 1st Runner Up will receive a sum of One Hundred and Fifty U.S. Dollars ($150).

NOTE: The scholarship award will be given in Naira equivalent at the time of award.

Eligibility for NWAG Scholarships 2023

To be considered for the NWAG Scholarship for female Nigerian undergraduates:

  • You must be a female Nigerian
  • You must be enrolled in any accredited and recognized Nigerian University
  • You must have the required documents as listed below

Requirements for NWAG Scholarships 2023

To be eligible for the NWAG Scholarship for Nigerian female undergraduates, the following documents are required:

  • Proof of State of Origin – Letter of Origination from the university or a letter from your local government office.
  • Two letters of recommendation from any two of the following:
    a. Pastor or Imam
    b. Village Head
    c. Local Government Chairperson
    d. University Lecturer or Head of the Department.
  • One Letter of recommendation from either the Dean of your Faculty or School Head of your Department
  • Photocopy of your current university student identification.
  • A current photograph of yourself.
  • An explanation of why you need and why you should receive the scholarship (Not more than one-half typed page).
  • A type-written, doubled-spaced, two-page essay on: 

“Curbing kidnapping epidemic in Nigeria: How did we get there? In what ways can kidnapping be eradicated in Nigeria?”

If you are eligible and interested in the NWAG Scholarship 2023, follow the instructions below carefully:

  1. Visit the official website and download the Application Form
  2. Fill the application form correctly
  3. Submit the completed application form alongside all the required documents listed above by mailing it to:
