Griffith University International Postgraduate Research Scholarship is now open for applications from talented students interested in enrolling in a postgraduate research program at the University for the academic session 2025 – 2026.
The scholarship covers tuition fees for up to three years for doctoral candidates and up to two years for research Masters candidates. It is available during the Continuous Scholarship Round at Griffith University.

In addition to covering tuition fees, the scholarship also includes Overseas Student Health Cover for the applicant and any dependents for the duration of the scholarship. Research candidates must hold a visa for the program length plus an additional eight months for thesis marking.
PhD candidates will need 57 months of overseas health cover, with Griffith University scholarships covering the first 42 months. Holders will be responsible for the remaining 15 months.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Griffith University International Postgraduate Research Scholarship, applicants must meet specific conditions like being an international student, holding a Bachelor Degree with First Class Honours, and not having completed a higher-level degree in the same program.

- Hold a Bachelor Degree (AQF 8) with First Class Honours (Class I) or be regarded by Griffith University as having an equivalent level of attainment.
- Have not completed a degree at the same or higher level as the HDR program to which the applicant is commencing or enrolled in.
