Wells Mountain Initiative Scholars Program (Up to $3,000 Scholarship)

The Wells Mountain Initiative Scholars Program is an incredibly selective chance for scholars in developing countries to pursue their first certificate, diploma, or bachelor’s degree.

The Wells Mountain Initiative Scholars Program provides financial aid for their undergraduate studies, assists them in leading social service projects while in school, and offers support to address any difficulties they face in order to successfully complete their studies. The scholarship is valid for the duration of the student’s undergraduate education.

Scholarship Eligibility

A male or female student from any developing country who:
● Will be 35 years or younger in age by Aug. 1, 2025
● Has successfully completed secondary education, with at least good grades
● Is applying to university or is working towards earning his or her first undergraduate
degree
● Will be studying in his or her country or another country in the developing world
● Plans to live and work in his or her own country after graduation
● Has participated in volunteer service prior to applying for this scholarship and is
committed to continue to engage in community service during school and after
● Has some funds available for his or her education, but will not be able to go to school or
continue without assistance

Scholarship’s Worth

About 60-80  scholarships are awarded yearly:

  • Maximum scholarship is $3,000 per year.
  • Average scholarship is $1,500 per year.

  2. Books and materials

Requirements for Wells Mountain Initiative Scholars Program

To complete your scholarship application successfully, The following documents are required:

  • A Clear personal photo
  • Write an essay ( Find essay topic on the application form)
  • Fill the 2025 application form
  • Submit a Personal essay statement
  • Submit two recommendation letters
  • Official transcript of grades from secondary school
  • Official transcript of grades from tertiary studies (if applicable)
  • Official results from your national exam

Application Deadline

Application closes March 1st every year. Hence application deadline for this year is March 1, 2025.

  • Scholarship Recipients would be announced August 1, 2025
  • First installment of scholarship would be paid by September, 2025.

The Wells Mountain Initiative DOES NOT REQUIRE ANY CHARGES for submitting a scholarship application. You simply have to submit a complete application to our website before the March 1 annual deadline. If somebody tells you that you need to pay a fee, please forward that email to info@wellsmountaininitiative.org so action can be taken against the fraud.
