Zeribe Nwosu Scholarship 2023
Zeribe Nwosu Scholarship 2023 is currently accepting applications from qualified fourth year undergraduate students of public universities or polytechnics in Nigeria.
Zeribe Nwosu Foundation was founded in 2021 by Dr. Zeribe Nwosu. This foundation hosts a scholarship award annually to assist talented student who have difficulties in funding their studies. This foundation is currently hosting a scholarship award and calls for application.
This scholarship is a merit-based scholarship, however, applicants having financial challenges in their academics would be given priority.
Eligibility Requirement
- Applicants must be a 4th year Undergraduate students in any recognized university or polytechnic
- Only students from Public Nigerian Universities and Polytechnics are eligible.
- Interested applicants must possess a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of ≥ 3.5 out of 5 for university students or 2.8 ≥ out of 4 for polytechnic students (for year 1-3 results).
- Medical students should present their year 1 results in addition to evidence of obtaining a “Pass” in their year 2 or 3 results.
- Student studying any course can apply.
- Applicants must present either an admission letter or referee letter from their heads of department.
Zeribe Nwosu Scholarship Worth
The Zeribe Nwosu Scholarship 2023 would be given to 10 awardees.
The scholarship is one-time award and it is worth a N100, 000 ( a hundred thousand naira only).
This is to support successful applicants’ tuition fees, house rents, research/project costs, internet cost or any other miscellaneous fees according to the awardees’ needs.
Application Documents Required
- A personal statement (1 page): This is an opportunity for you to introduce yourself to the scholarship committee. Your personal statement should describe your academic background, motivations and career goals, volunteer services (including your service in your church, mosque or NGOs).
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): Please do NOT include referees in your curriculum vitae.
- A letter of recommendation (1-2 pages): This should be on official letterhead from any of your department’s lecturer.
- Unofficial transcript (year 1-3): If possible, a printed unofficial transcript from your student’s portal that is signed by your head of department is preferable.
- A statement of need (100-200 words): Explain the financial difficulties you have in your studies and where possible, give examples of expenses the scholarship fund will help you with.

Application Timelines
– The closing date for this scholarship is April 1.
– The review decision will be sent to applicants on June 20.
– Interviews will be held on July 1 to July 20.
– Awards will be given on the 1st of August.
